  • I am a dancer and holistic movement artist with a curiosity for the connection between raw emotion and the body’s capacity to heal through kinesthetic movement.

  • As a dancer and holistic movement artist, I have always been curious about how deeply my craft can implement transformation within oneself. My work explores the connection between raw emotion and the body’s capacity to heal through kinesthetic movement. Drawing from my foundation in codified modern and classical ballet styles, I later discovered my passion for holistic healing and bodywork. In 2020, during a time of uncertainty and isolation, I dove into the practice of yoga and earned my E-RYT 200 certification. This journey sparked a curiosity within me about body and mind connection and chakra alignment, and how it can be used as a means for transformation. Learning to create and lead with the heart was the most transformative experience I have witnessed.

Each work I create is deeply intertwined with the intangible layers of the human experience. My art embodies the journey into the depths of a space where vulnerability and strength meet to portray a relative story. My most recent work was presented at the Grace Street Theater in Richmond, Virginia in November of 2024. This work is titled Ye Shall Know the Truth, and the Truth Shall Make You Free. Combining my backgrounds in holistic healing, yoga, and my kinesthetic movement style I created a piece that is unique to my own transformation process. This work reflected my journey in finding my voice, and learning how to confidently speak my truth. Through my yoga practices, I discovered the blockages within my throat chakra, which kept me from embracing my truest form of self expression. This process became extremely transformative for myself and my cast, as we explored techniques like combining humming and singing with movement, to create vibrational frequencies and release blockages in the throat. Through movement, we gain greater access to growth, transformation, and a richer understanding of the human experience.

"In moving, I do not simply occupy space; I engage with it. Movement is the expression of my freedom, as it constantly redefines the boundaries of my situation,” a quote from John-Paul Sartre’s Being and Nothingness. Combining my personal experiences and those of human existence, I create work that invites connection. Using the body as a form of knowledge, I strive to create work that draws from my past training and experiences while focusing on the present moment, the shared human experience, and the future—exploring these through the lens of transformation and holistic healing.
